Just-B-Cause

A fellow I met on the Internet

whom folks would describe as a gent.

Is very jovial and courteous - unless his patience is spent.

On occasions when he's unhappy,

he will rant and rage and moan,

And it was on one such occasion, he used his telephone.

He angrily spoke in the mouthpiece,

as soon as he heard a reply.

He shouted on about service - and said that his bill was too high.

He stated the work was quite shoddy,

and told the girl just how he felt

Regarding the hidden extras, on the bill, with his name mis-spelt.

The young lass tried to answer him.

"Don't 'but' me!" he shouted in rage.

Ignoring all of her protests, he listed complaints by the page.

When he finished there followed a silence,

and he thought that the 'phone had gone dead:

Then .....

"it is with much relief I can tell you,

You have dialled the wrong number." she said.
